UAE's leaders have wished students in UAE as they gear up for the new school year.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, tweeted special back to school messages for students across the country.

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted:

Tomorrow starts the new school year, and we will continue the journey of education for more than a million students in UAE. Your school develops you to build your country - in turn your education earns us glory.

From the classrooms, our and your dreams begin, and you draw the future of your country from your books.

With you, the country rises, so make your school your home. May Allah protect and guide you.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed tweeted:

A new school year (begins) filled with positivity and optimism.

Dear students, make sure to gain knowledge and learn science. Abide by principles, values and moral standards, and inculcate them in your souls.

Continue you journey of education with diligence and perseverance. Success is no longer the goal, instead academic excellence is our demand and goal.

We wish for more success in our educational process in order to improve the academic environment that attracts and encourages learning, thinking and innovation.

We look forward to the continuing contribution from families and society to monitor our children and encourage them to fulfill their ambitions and future aspirations.
