Pittsburgh shooting suspect pleads not guilty

The suspect in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting that left 11 dead has pleaded not guilty to 44 charges.

Robert Bower on Thursday denied charges that include the murdering of 11 people, hate crimes and firearms offences.

Bowers,46, spoke in court only to say he understood the charges and to enter a not guilty plea.
